Music Kinetic Typography Video
Client: UrbanPulse

Year: 2025

For Urban Pulse we produced a kinetic typography video celebrating urban movement and high-definition sound. Our task was to transform the energy of street culture and wireless audio freedom into a dynamic visual experience that captures the rhythm, flow, and lifestyle of the brand through expressive typographic motion blended with live-action dancers and vibrant motion graphics.

Urban Sound - Kinetic Typography Video

Kinetic Typography Meets Mixed Media: Our Creative Solution

Ultratype designed Urban Pulse as the perfect companion for those who live on the move. Using kinetic typography as the primary visual driver, we animated bold, rhythmic text that pulses with the music, integrated with street dancers whose movements are traced by colorful graphic patterns. Words don't just describe the beat, they become the beat, with letterforms that bounce, stretch, and flow in sync with each dance move.

The slightly old-school color tones combined with dynamic kinetic typography and motion graphics created a multi-layered visual experience that perfectly captured the brand's essence: high-definition sound meets wireless freedom, all told through expressive, rhythm-driven text animation.

Our Proven Creative Process

Every successful kinetic typography and live-action project follows our systematic approach that ensures both creative excellence and technical precision:

1. Creative Research & Concept We dive deep into your brand, audience, and objectives to develop a typographic and visual language that resonates. For Urban Pulse, we explored urban culture, movement, and how to visualize sound through kinetic type.

2. Detailed Storyboarding We map out every typographic transition and sequence to ensure seamless integration between live-action, kinetic typography, and animated elements. This planning phase is crucial for hybrid productions where text must dance with reality.

3. Live-Action Production We shoot with typographic integration in mind, planning camera movements and lighting that will perfectly complement the kinetic typography and motion graphics to be added later.

4. Kinetic Typography & Motion Graphics Integration Ultratype creates dynamic typographic animations that naturally flow with the live-action footage, creating that seamless blend between reality, text, and imagination. Every word is choreographed to move with the dancers and visualize the audio experience.

The Result: Typography and Movement Brought to Life

While kinetic typography drives the narrative, mixed media elements—video clips, photographs, and graphic textures, add depth and context. These real-world visuals don't compete with the typography; they complement it, creating layers of meaning where text and image work in synchrony.

This fusion is particularly effective for event visuals, brand campaigns, and broadcast idents where typographic impact needs to be immediate and memorable. The collage-style composition reflects the multifaceted nature of running itself: endurance, speed, technique, and passion all converging in motion.

Expressive Typography That Captivates

Every typographic choice is intentional, from bold, impactful lettering that commands attention to fluid, cursive flows that echo continuous movement. The text doesn't just appear; it performs, creating an immersive experience where viewers feel the energy of the sport through the motion of words.

This is kinetic typography at its most expressive: transforming language into a dynamic visual force that celebrates both the physical and creative art of movement.
